Brand I Love: Melvin

Last night, I attended an amazing spring pop-up event at CCH Collection‘s flagship store on Grove Avenue in Richmond. The always-fabulous ladies from The SoGood and Richmond-based luxury men’s shirt mavens Ledbury hosted the event, with 20 incredible local brands. The CCH Collection’s already-amazing store was transformed into a verified wonderland of necklaces, baubles, baskets, prints, home accessories, bitters — even biscuits.

One of the brands that immediately stood out to me was Melvin, a Charlotte-based jewelry company that puts a “creative twist on bullets and bold creatures. Finding inspiration from fashion, culture, travel, and the unexpected, it’s ultimately this design duo’s differences that makes Melvin something truly special.”

I brought home a bracelet and necklace, and I’m absolutely in love with both of them. I couldn’t wait to get dressed for work this morning because it meant donning my new treasures!

I love so many things about Melvin, but my favorite thing about this jewelry is the juxtaposition of textures, colors, and materials. Each piece is so complex in its own right, but it all comes together and works perfectly. It can also be layered, as well as dressed up or down. Melvin: you have found a new follower!

Here’s a snapshot of what I bought.
